Riley is a motivated 9th grader who loves to learn. She currently attends Canton High School. A high achieving student, Riley earned the President's Award for her 3 year-long high honors status at the Galvin Middle School and received several awards for subject-based academic excellence, including one in science. In her free time, Riley plays cello and piano, is apart of her school's robotics team, mountain bikes, plays curling, and competes internationally for GIPS and CmPS. She has been competing in GIPS for 5 years and CmPS once. Her team in June of 2019 placed second internationally for their project, Project PREP. Her favorite subjects are biology, engineering, and technology
Danica is a 9th grade student attending Canton High School. She graduated the Galvin Middle School achieving the President's Award along with other notable awards for academic merit and high honors through all 3 years. Beyond academics, Danica participates in dance at the Hazel Boone Dance Studio as well as the school orchestra. Since 7th grade, she’s been involved in the Global Issues Problem Solving (GIPS) and Community Problem Solving (CmPS) program. Her main role on the team is being the Director of Outreach and working on digital design.
Anika is a rising 9th grader at Canton High School in Massachusetts. During her time in middle school, she has received the Presidential Award in recognition of outstanding academic excellence for 3 straight years of high honors and the classroom achievement of the highest average in Social Studies. Anika loves playing with her puppy, hiking, biking, art, and participates in the school band. She is currently captain of the robotics team and takes part in the Science Olympiad Anika has taken part in FPS for 5 years and has participated in CmPS for 3 years winning 3rd and 4th place internationally for her teams project, Project SNOW and Project SNAP.
Julia is a straight-A, 9th grade student at Canton High School. It is her second year participating in CmPS and FPS. Outside of CmPS, Julia enjoys reading, skiing, and spending time outside. She plays the violin, saxophone, and ukulele. She has a passion for dance and loves to bake, and explore nature.
After winning second place at the Future Problem Solving International Conference, our team has decided to start new CmPS projects for next year. Working on Project REMOTE this year has taught us all so many valuable lessons, we feel we've learned just as much as the kids who watch our videos! Thank you for all the support! P.S.
